The home is a South Pacific-themed three-story luxury vacation home located approximately 125 yards from the beach pavilion (2 - 3 minute walk) and is only two houses away from the main neighborhood pool within the EMERALD SHORES subdivision, a gated beach ownership community! EMERALD SHORES is the only residential community in Destin that has a private beach pavilion with restrooms, outdoor showers, beach service, and its very own Pavilion Bar & Grill! This eliminates having to go back to the home for potty breaks or to rinse off the kids, or just get a bite to eat with a cold beverage. It's all available at the Emerald Shores beach pavilion!
The home has a spacious 3000 square feet with which to spoil yourself and overflows with luxurious upgrades including granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, 12 ft. ceilings, textured walls, tile and hardwood floors, accent lighting, wood blinds, a Jacuzzi tub, two 65" flat screens, a game room with granite wet bar, refrigerator and microwave on the third floor and more.
SOUTH SEAS, our Destin Florida Home Rental, features three luxurious Master Suites, all with king beds, private baths, and an expansive 180-degree view of the area from the 3rd-floor balcony. The 4th bedroom is a bunk bed extravaganza (2 bunk twins/fulls sleeps, 6 kids). This is a great set-up for three families with the 3rd-floor game room providing a private TV and play area for the kids or it can be used as a 5th bedroom utilizing the queen futon sleeper. Two roll-away single beds are also kept in the home.
Balconies, porches, decks, and patios give you ample room to lounge around in a tropical paradise. French doors open up to soak in the tropical Gulf breezes. The home is located on the first beach street cul-de-sac in the neighborhood and is a very short walk to the beach, the large heated community pool, onsite tennis, or restaurants. SOUTH SEAS has free WiFi high-speed internet access (wireless 2.5g or 5g). Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $250.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
About the Owner
Our first road trip to Destin was in 1987, and we immediately fell in love with the sugar‑white beaches and pristine Gulf waters. It became our little secret getaway filled with long beach walks and visits to the fish market. Destin is no longer a secret, and we’re passionate about sharing everything it has to offer. We’ve traveled extensively and rented many vacation homes ourselves, so we understand the importance of a great location, easy access to amenities, and a clean, well‑maintained property. In 2001 we took the plunge, bought our first Destin property, and started living “The Dream.” Eventually, we moved here full‑time. As our success grew, other owners wanted to tap into our formula. We brought on Josh O’Brien as our Gulf911 Property Manager. When asked why we do so well, the answer is simple: who cares more about a property than owners who live nearby? We’re small, hands‑on, and personally invested. Our properties aren’t “out of sight, out of mind” investments managed by a large cookie‑cutter company. We conduct our own weekly inspections and regularly update and upgrade each home. Josh is handy and handles minor repairs immediately, and Betty’s Florida Real Estate license keeps us current on market trends.
